The Perfect Divorce
Like most fans of The Perfect Marriage, I could not wait for the sequel. Based on that, I was quite pleased to receive the advanced readers copy prior to publication. If you enjoyed the first one, you should enjoy this one as well, although I must admit I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I had done a refresher read on the first one prior to starting. Somehow, I just feel like I missed some nuances from the time in between.
This book brings back some of the characters from the first book as well as introducing some very interesting new options. The timeline is more than a decade from the original so Sarah has married again and had a child in that time. Unfortunately, her marriage to Bob has met a similar fate as Adam, in the fact that Bob has also cheated on her. So of course, she has filed for divorce.
As always, Jeneva has lots of twists in this one so you may constantly think you have figured out who is doing what. Some things I did figure out, but I admit I falsely accused one person in my mind for a bit. :) If you follow Jeneva on Social Media, you will find one characters name quite amusing. Overall, its an amusing take in the next installment of Sarah's attempts at a happily ever after. Good enough that you can finish it in a day or two if you choose.
*I did receive an advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review.
